Material procurement
MLP procurement (Mechanically Lined Pipe)
MLP pipes, a cost-saving clad pipe technology preferred by major oil and gas operators for sour service oil fields, have been successfully procured by Barruchess Engineering for several fast-track projects. Our technical expertise includes liner CRA procurement and control, hosting C-Mn pipes, managing critical dimensional combinations, limiting wrinkling, controlling triple point welds using PAUT, and conducting final NDT control. We have collaborated with renowned MLP pipe suppliers such as B, Cld, and PCld. Barruchess Engineering is committed to assisting small and medium-sized companies (SMEs) in upgrading their technical skills and fabricating MLP pipes.
Deep water pipelay project
Barruchess Engineering’s experts have been contracted by installation contractors to manage complex and fast-track deepwater pipelay projects in various locations including the USA Gulf of Mexico, Angola, China, and Brazil. With our technical support, the scope of weld procedure qualification testing has been reduced by approximately 30% for each project, allowing for schedule and cost recovery.
HRB pipe procurement (Hot Rolled Bonded)
HRB pipes, the best CRA clad pipe technology available, are rolled and seamed welded from sandwich plates of CRA/C-Mn. Barruchess Engineering has worked on numerous projects involving HRB pipes for pipeline fields and subsea structures. We are dedicated to helping SMEs in the USA procure HRB pipes for their clients, enabling major oil and gas operators to save costs in laying clad pipes for sour service oil fields.
Duplex forging procurement
Leading oil and gas operators such as Exxon, Chevron, and BP have required a series of duplex 22%Cr forgings (elbows, flanges, and tees) for their subsea structure and infield pipeline projects. Welding Procedure Certification
Our comprehensive third-party certification service offers a complete package for the production of Welding Procedure Qualification Records (WPQRs) or Procedure Qualification Records (PQRs). Our highly trained and qualified surveyors visit your site and employ a unique company-welder interaction approach to capture all the necessary data for certification. We then coordinate the required testing with our independent ISO17025 accredited laboratory, providing results within a maximum of 5 days.
